Saw and Etched Piece
This design for this piece was first drawn on a piece of paper that was glued to the metal. The metal was then pierced using a drill press and the piece was cut out using a handheld saw. The metal was then covered in tar and the design was etched out of the metal. The piece was then placed in the nitric acid until the design was deep enough. The tar was then removed using paint thinner and the piece was placed in the liver of sulfur to be oxidized. The metal was then finished using a handheld buffing tool.
