Three Metals and Surfaces Piece
The three metals were first cut out to size using the metal shears. The pieces were then heated up with the torch to anneal the metal so it was bendable. Stamps were then used to hit the metal and leave a design on each of the metals. The pieces were then soldered together using sweat solder by covering the surface with flux, then placing the solder on one of the pieces which was heated up and placed in the water. Flux was then added in between the pieces, they were clamped together, and heated up until hot enough for the solder to stay. The piece was then placed in the nitric acid to remove the firescale and the pieces were finished using the handheld buffing tools.
